About Me

Hello everyone. Thank you so much for stopping by. My name is Azurah Hays (uh-zer-uh) but my loved ones called me Zura. 

A Little Bit About Me: I am twenty-four years old, I am a pre-law college student, and I love to read and write. But most of all, I love to create. 

Creative Backstory: I have been an artist since I could pick up a pencil to write my ABC's. My grandparents bought me my first easel and watercolor paints, my grandfather taught me how to sign and date my work, and the rest was history. Aside from painting, I also am pursuing a career in writing, and am a freelance photographer and videographer, and a musician as well. I have to admit, I would always enjoy the stationary kits that both sets of grandparents and my parents would gift me, but I never, ever thought writing would go anywhere for me until one day, in my tenth grade Honors English class. I received a quick write back of a horror piece I had written and the comments my teacher, Ms. Shinnerl left were life-changing. From there I never stopped writing.
